Training for new riders
The road to a moped or motorcycle licence is varied. You will have to complete a compulsory basic training course (CBT), pass the theory test and then pass the practical test. The practical test is now split into two modules. The first is taken off road carrying out set manoeuvres and module two is tested on road.
You can also take the Direct Access route if you are over 21 years old, which allows you to learn on a larger machine.
